We camped at Hadley’s campground. The sites are not very big or private, but it is a great location close to Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Paul and Susanne met us in Bar Harbor for a few days. We explored the town and and walked to Bar Harbor Island. At low tide a sand bar is available to walk across. At high tide you have no idea that there is a sand bar.

We spent the day in Acadia National Park. We drove up to Cadillac Mountain, ate at Jordan Pond, walked around the pond, and went to see Sand Beach and Thunder Hole.

We spent the morning biking the carriage trails in Acadia. We biked around Eagle Lake to Bubble Pond and Scott was excited because we passed wild blueberry bushes. We stopped so he could have a snack.

We stopped at Atlantic Brewing and picked up my favorites, Real Ale and Blueberry Ale. They also make a great blueberry soda. There are so many ice cream stores to try. We had in order of favorite to least favorite, Mt. Desert Island Ice Cream, CJs Big Dipper, and Udder Heaven.
