We stayed at Anastasia State Park on an island just over the bridge from St. Augustine.
St. Augustine is a really small city that is easily walkable. We enjoyed walking around to see all the spanish architecture. We also rented a slingshot one day to cruise the city and A1A beach highway. They are as much fun to drive as they look. We would recommend breakfast at Anastasia Diner and some of the best clam chowder we ever had at Sunset Grille.
