We stayed at Fort Wilderness Campground in Disney. The campground is not far from Magic Kingdom so you can see the fireworks every night. Our visit there overlapped a couple of days with the couple we bought our RV from. We were able to catch up with them and learn all about other campgrounds that should be on our list.
We usually spend most of our time in the parks while at Disney. This time we chose to do some resort hopping. We took the boat from our campground to Magic Kingdom and took the monorail and boats to the Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Wilderness Lodge. Each resort is so differently themed it’s like its own little park.
We had so much fun we decided to take the new Skyliner (Gondola buckets) to other resorts. We also took a bus to see Animal Kingdom Lodge. The outside has a Savanna where we saw giraffe, wildebeast, flamingo, gazelles, impala, and zebra.
We did go to Hollywood Studios to see the Star Wars Land. The park wasn’t that crowded, the longest we waited on a line was 30 minutes. We were able to go on all the rides and see all the shows we wanted to. The best rides in the park were Star Wars Rise of the Resistance and Toy Story Mania.
The day we were leaving we went to Disney Springs to walk around. The lego builds outside the Lego store are always impressive.
