Our first stop was Henderson Beach State Park. The park was great. Very private spots and was only 1/4 mile path/boardwalk to the beach. The beach was white flat sand with no shells or seaweed. It was perfect to walk on. Mark and Helene met us and showed us around Destin, Sandestin, and Miramar.
We explored the coastal towns of Seaside and Rosemary Beach. Seaside was were they filmed the movie The Truman Show. It is one of the cutest towns we have ever been to. Rosemary Beach was completely different. You would never know you were in Florida, it has a European feel to it.
